Chunky eco necklace

There’s been a lot of jewellery about recently that combines fabric and metals. This is an interesting version of that – it’s called a feline necklace and it’s made by A Alicia, available from Not On The High Street

A Alicia specialises in jewellery made from ethically produced and vintage fabrics, exploring the possibilities created by the textures and shapes.

In this necklace the handmade pom poms, about 3cms wide, are made from organic fairtrade cotton, the ceramic glazed beads are also handmade and these hang from a vintage brass chain measuring about 70cms.

There are three possible colour ranges – Coral Red, Black or Chartreuse Yellow – all having the pom pom section in the centre and the off-white glazed ceramic beads – and it costs £48 including free mainland delivery.
