How do you choose to remember a loved one or pet who’s no longer alive? When I first heard of cremation jewellery I was fascinated and appalled at the same time. Then I went back to a wood where a couple of years ago I’d scattered a friend’s ashes and it was so good to be reminded of times together that it made me think – wouldn’t jewellery do the same thing – just be a constant reminder of someone you loved?

The problem is that a lot of the so-called “urn jewellery” is frankly not good: small funnels into which you spoon the ashes.
