Well, by her own admission Emma Northcott is having a lot of fun. She freely admits to embarassing her son as she goes about gathering up discarded cans. It’s not that Emma’s obsessively anti-litter, but that she sees the potential in discarded items for making jewellery. This is upcycling at its best – taking a product that’s no longer needed and changing its use without changing its form.Can ringpulls, bike inner tubes, or plastic bags – Emma turns them all into interesting jewellery.
